Women's Ministry

Every third weekend in March the Women’s Ministry holds a Women’s Day weekend in which it recognizes women who haves exemplified outstanding service to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. These women raise money by selling ads to the church members and the community. Money raised from the ads is used to issue scholarships to qualified students who are members of the church. Funds are also used to offset the cost of the weekend. All women of the church are also asked to pay a $30.00 assessment.

Women's Day Honorees

Each year college graduates who have applied for the Women’s Ministry Scholarship are awarded their scholarship on the second Sunday in June. Each recipient receives a total of $2,000. The first installment of $500.00 is issued by the third Sunday in July and there after each third Sunday until the Scholarship is completed.

Recipients are asked to provide documentation at the beginning of each fall semester to show that they are in good standing with their educational institution. Recipients are also asked to fill out a Scholarship Participation form. This form allows the committee to keep abreast with the recipient’s participation in church activities.
